Bewerbungsprozess

I submitted the application standard pack, incl. my CV and Motivation Letter. In less than 1 month I received an invitation to the assessment day. At the end of the assessment day, the offer was communicated, incl. a salary offer and potential start date.

Interview-Fragen

The assessment day was inline with what one knows from the other consulting companies. 3 interviews with a case and personal questions each. Two of the cases required some basic understating of the energy world (e.g. load factor of renewable technologies). The 3rd case was very abstract.
The personal questions related to my previous work/study experiences, but also opinion on the ongoing changes in the energy world.

Einblicke und Insider-Tipps

You can make the cut, only if you are prepared for a full on consulting interview - do not underestimate it because it is "Inhouse". Basic maths and basic energy world knowledge is a must.

Feedback des Unternehmens

I choose to request feedback on my performance during the assessment day even if ECON already made me an offer. I was positively surprised that one of the principles offered to meet in person and go over the feedback.
