Atmosphäre

It was a great experience! Apart from the unique location of Boca in between the Palm Beaches and Ft. Lauderdale, the internship itself was like an incubator for the future career. From day #1 I was fully integrated in daily business matters. Everybody, especially my tutor, was willingly supporting me. After work we would do sports together or go out for dinner occasionally. The social interaction is valued much higher in the States than it is here in Germany.

Siemens USA does not equal Siemens Deutschland. That's pretty clear. Leadership and corporate culture are very American. Thus, people with pragmatism and drive, who love what they do and show it, who have great social skills, will easily be very successful with Siemens USA or any other American company.

Siemens offers everything you can think off... liz.andrews@icn.siemens.com is the HR Manager in charge of internships and co-op programs. Tell her Florian Mück said Hello... She always gave me tickets to ball games of the Floriada Marlins and is in deed a very nice person.
