Five factors characterize the Santiago Approach towards consulting:
We address topics from a comprehensive perspective. That means we integrate strategy and business model development, process and organizational design, people and leadership and transformation and implementation into a holistic consulting approach.
We inspire our customers with our ability to combine outstanding, tailor-made ideas and concepts with pragmatic feasibility. In this way, we ensure that tangible successes develop out of good ideas.
We partner with our clients to put recommendations into practice and deliver sustainable results.
We are entrepreneurs. We live the culture of a young and dynamic enterprise with high entrepreneurial freedom and strive to seize opportunities, across all levels and hierarchies.
Agility and digital transformation
We work in an agile way and use the appropriate methods and tools. We take the challenges of digitalization into account in our projects and, at the same time, realize the opportunities of digital transformation in our daily work.
We offer you all the opportunities you need to further grow
personally and professionally. Whether it is global assignments, innovative
project topics or a variety of industries – the possibilities are countless.

Santiago projects are top management projects in Dax-30 corporations or in large SMEs. We are valued by our customers for our individuality, creativity, experience and quality.
We are looking for colleagues who bring these qualities with them, are able to leave established methods behind and are willing to set off into new territory – in short: people who want to make an impact and have the ability to carry others with them along this path.
What is important for us are your personality, your qualification and your entrepreneurial mindset. We are looking for colleagues who can convince people via integrity, empathy and communication skills as well as analytical and structuring expertise. If you also completed your university career with excellent marks and are someone who thinks analytically and acts entrepreneurially, you should join our team.
In addition to an above average compensation package including company car or mobility grant, we offer you a wide range of benefits. These include individual mobility schemes and health programs that differentiate us from the rest of our industry.
Furthermore, we have modern working time models that give you plenty of flexibility in how you structure your working time – from sabbaticals lasting several months to regular reductions in your annual working hours.
We also support any academic further development, such as MBAs, doctorates etc., through individual solutions.
Tailormade trainings & coaching
In addition to on-the-job experiences in each of your projects, we support your development with an individual learning and development program tailored to your specific training needs.
Our extensive Academy Program of training courses and seminars will enable you to develop problem solving, analytical and communication as well as professional skills around trend topics (e.g. agile project management). Furthermore, the regular exchange with your senior coach (on Partner level) will help you to learn more and continuously expand your potential.
We are not only committed in our daily work with our
clients, but we also feel responsible towards the further development of
For this reason, we support social initiatives either financially or through projects that we carry out pro bono.
For example, every year Santiago employees internally present social projects they are personally engaged in. They raise funds for these initiatives from their Santiago colleagues and Santiago as a company doubles the raised donations.
Since starting this initiative we have already donated more than 150,000€ to social initiatives, and through our personal engagement we achieved a high transparency regarding the use of these funds and know that we have made a significant impact.
Furthermore, we strive for sustainability and aim to achieve CO2 neutrality for Santiago by 2028. We will reach this goal by reducing CO2 emissions and investing in CO2 compensation programs. For example, we choose the mobility alternatives that contribute least to climate change by avoiding to fly where possible, traveling more by train, taking advantage of local public transport and increasing the share of our vehicles that use CO2-saving technologies such as gas, hydrogen and electricity. We will also step by step compensate for the CO2 consumption that we cannot reduce via annual investments in appropriate projects (solar, wind, forestry or biomass).
"From my first day at Santiago I was enthusiastic about the exciting projects, the opportunities to expand my perspectives every day and the relaxed and appreciative atmosphere in the team. As a mother of two schoolchildren, I also appreciate Santiago's innovative working time models."
Dr. Sonia Vilaclara - Principal at Santiago Advisors
At Santiago we know that our employees have different needs regarding the compatibility of career and private life. Some of us start families, others pursue personal passions or want to experience different cultures and countries, while we all do the work we love.
We offer you modern working time models that give you plenty of flexibility how you structure your working time - from sabbaticals lasting several months to regular reductions in your annual working hours. We also support any academic further development, such as MBAs, doctorates etc., through individual solutions.
We have been experts in remote working since many years, even before the Corona era: If we are not at our customers’ sites, we mostly work from home. This way we avoid unnecessary travel and enhance our flexibility in balancing personal and professional life. However, we also regularly come together in our Willich office and other regional hubs.
Last but not least we like to have fun and meet at numerous events around the year. We have regular team events to exchange ideas outside the office, meet half-yearly for several days for our “Advisors’ Days” and regularly at other events such as the Munich Oktoberfest or sports events. Get-togethers like these allow us to get to know each other better and create invaluable bonds that we build upon during projects. They are one of the reasons for our outstanding team spirit and collaborative culture at Santiago.
If you are interested in a career at Santiago, please send us a brief profile of yourself (cover letter, CV and copies of your most important certificates). After having reviewed your documentation, we will respond quickly to your application and in the first step invite you to a first interview. If that is successful it will be followed by a round of interviews with several managers. We look forward to your application!
