From Intern to Consultant – Why I Chose Bain

During my internship at Bain, I worked on a growth strategy project and was surprised how quickly I was trusted with my own tasks. Instead of just supporting, I was responsible for specific work packages and presented parts of my analysis to the team and the client. I really enjoyed being on-site and traveling with the team, it made the work feel real and gave me a much better understanding of how strategy projects actually run in practice. What convinced me most, though, was the culture. People were supportive, open to questions, and genuinely interested in helping me improve. I always felt that my contribution mattered, even as an intern. That experience made the decision easy for me to come back to Bain full-time after my Master’s degree.
